Shipping and Returns
THE SHOP IS OPEN! 🎉 and it's business as best we can in these unprecedented times. In line with Scottish Government guidelines on the Coronavirus Pandemic, we are minimising the risk to ourselves and the wider public by reducing our trips to our local post office. Therefore we will only be shipping orders out twice a week. These days are: EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY.
Please allow extra time for your parcels to arrive with you due to delays at Royal Mail. According to Royal Mail parcels are not considered lost in transit until 21 days have passed. Please notify us after this time if your parcel has still not arrived with you and we will investigate.

We offer UK and Worldwide Shipping
Free shipping available on all UK orders over £20 spend.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We ship all of our items from the United Kingdom. Our shipping rates for under £20 (UK) and Worldwide are calculated at checkout, and there is a shipping calculator available for your convenience.
Items within the UK are sent via the following options:
(These are our usual NON pandemic delivery timescales.)
• Royal Mail 1st Class (no signature required upon delivery) and should arrive with you within 1-3 working days*
• Royal Mail Special Delivery (requires signature upon delivery) and should arrive with you by 1pm next working day.
• Wall Planners are sent with Hermes Parcels (requires signature upon delivery) and should arrive within 3 working days.
*Please note this is Royal Mail’s estimate and is not guaranteed. Please allow for up to 14 days for delivery)
Items posted Worldwide are sent via the following options:
• Royal Mail International Standard
• Parcel Force UK/UPS/or MyHermes International.
We aim to ship your orders (both UK and Worldwide) within 2 to 3 days of purchase.
Estimated time for delivery depends on where you are located. Please be aware that items shipped internationally from the United Kingdom can sometimes take up to 21 days to arrive at your door in your home country (especially if you’re in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia and New Zealand) but should usually be delivered in around 5-7 days.
If any, additional customs charges are applied to your parcel on arrival in your home country, it is your responsibility to pay those charges.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We really hope you are happy with your purchase from The Happy Colour Shop but we totally understand if for any reason you want to return or exchange an item.
If you would like to return an item, please email us first at email@example.com for more information. Then return the item in its original, unused state and packaging, for a refund, credit note or exchange. Our returns policy lasts for 30 days from the date of your purchase. After 30 days we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a couple of days.
Please note, our shipping costs are non-refundable. In addition, when returning items the shipping costs of returning an item is your responsibility. We also can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Things get lost in transit all the time. So it’s your responsibility to make sure return items are addressed correctly, (insured/optional) otherwise we cannot offer you a refund or exchange on your return item that hasn't arrived.
What’s happened to my refund?
• If you have been approved for a refund and haven’t received it yet, first check your bank account again.
• Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
• Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
• If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What if my items arrived damaged in the post?
All of our parcels are properly packaged and inspected upon leaving The Happy Colour Shop HQ but sometimes things can go wrong during transit and parcels get damaged which is out of our control. If this has happened with your parcel, please get in touch at email@example.com and let us know. We really want you to have the best shopping experience with us at The Happy Colour Shop and would love the chance to fix this for you.
What about your sale items?
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
What about your digital products?
Please note there are no returns available on direct download digital products such as eBooks and PDFs.
